Great news for food managers in Puerto Rico! The FMC® Food Managers Certification program for Puerto Rico is now fully accepted by the Puerto Rico Department of Health as a recognized certification for food managers. This approval ensures that foodservice professionals across the island can obtain their certification through FMC®, meeting the regulatory requirements for food safety and compliance.

Official Endorsement from the Puerto Rico Department of Health

Mariely Ortiz, Director of the Food Hygiene Division with the Puerto Rico Department of Health, has confirmed that all eight regional offices will be officially notified of FMC®'s acceptance. This means that food managers, employers, and regulatory officials across Puerto Rico can confidently rely on FMC® as an approved certification for compliance with food safety regulations.
