There’s more than one way to get your ‘apple a day,’ including this Fall favorite that is guaranteed to warm you down to your toes. It’s quick and easy to concoct, and makes enough for sharing with that special someone in front of the fire.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. apple cider
  • 4 oz. rye whiskey
  • 2 oz. Campari
  • 2 oz. sweet vermouth
  • 2 orange twists

Directions

Pour apple cider into a medium saucepan and heat to a simmer. Stir in rye whiskey, Campari and vermouth. Pour into two mugs or heat-proof serving glasses, and garnish with orange twists. For an added kick, use hard cider instead of sweet cider.
